Leadership Napa Valley is excited to partner with Napa Valley College’s Upper Valley Campus to bring you Board PICK 2018.

Are you interested in serving on the board of directors of a Napa County nonprofit? I you're interested in giving back by getting involved as a prospective board member, we invite you to join us in this festive, informational fair.  This free community event  is open to the public.

Think of it as a fun afternoon of speed "dating" for the community-minded. Learn how to get involved as a community member serving on the board of directors for a nonprofit organization or civic commission in Napa County. Connect directly with the leadership of some of Napa County's most successful nonprofits.

Board PICK offers a unique opportunity for Napa Valley community members to demonstrate their Passion, Interest, Commitment, and Knowledge (their PICK) by meeting directly with the leadership of 20 different Napa based 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations all in one place and learning how to get involved as community members serving on the boards of directors for these organizations. Board PICK is a great way to connect with the community you love on a whole new level.

Current board members and staff of 17 organizations working in the arts, health and human services, animal welfare, education, youth empowerment, museums, libraries, and more will be on hand to meet prospective board members and share information about their organizations' mission, services, activities, and board expectations:

  • Arts Council of Napa Valley

  • Canine Guardians Assistance Dogs
  • CASA, A Voice for Children
  • Community Resources for Children
  • Friends and Foundation, St Helena Public Library
