Meet the Leader: Jennifer Yasumoto

The Meet the Leader series continues with an invitation LNV alumni only to join us for coffee and a visit to the Napa County Health and Human Services.

Jennifer Yasumoto was appointed Director of Health and Human Services effective January 28, 2019.  The Health and Human Services Agency is Napa County's largest department and offers child welfare, public health, mental health, alcohol and drug, self-sufficiency, and older and disabled adult programs. The agency has over 480 employees.

Jennifer has been with Napa County since 2002 and most recently served as Chief Deputy County Counsel. She has previously served in a variety of management roles including in Mental Health, Health and Human Services Administration, Privacy, and served as the Deputy Director-Quality Management/Compliance Officer for Health and Human Services for six years.  She holds a Juris Doctorate from University of San Francisco.

As part of this Meet the Leader Event, Jennifer will highlight her vision for the provision of critical services to the community as well as her efforts to engage and partner with community based organizations to offer high quality and coordinated services.
