Meet Napa County Fire Chief Jason Martin

Napa County appointed Jason Martin as Napa County Fire Chief on September 28, 2021. Chief Martin, a CalFire employee assigned by contract to Napa County, began his firefighting career in 1988 and moved to Napa County in 1995. In 2019, Chief Martin was promoted to Assistant Chief and now takes on the role of County Fire Chief. Come hear Chief Martin's thoughts and insights on the current challenges and opportunities facing the County of Napa, an area that experienced wildfires in 2017 and 2020. Learn about Napa County's relationship with CalFire and how fire services work in the unincorporated County. And, since October is nationally recognized as Fire Prevention Month, we're sure you'll get some preparedness tips too. The facilitator for this event will be Leadership Napa Valley Board Member, Carolyn Hamilton. Event Registration is required.
