Judge Scott Young

Scott Young serves as a Judge of the Napa Superior Court. He currently sits in the civil division and is the supervising judge of the appellate division. He has previously served as the supervising judge of the criminal division, and was previously a commissioner of the court. For over a decade, Judge Young served as a deputy district attorney in both Napa and Orange counties. Judge Young received a Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, and a Bachelor of Science from Southern Oregon University, where he served as president of the Associated Students. Judge Young graduated from Vintage High School in Napa, and enjoys cycling, surfing and skiing. Come join Leadership Napa Valley for an inside look of the Napa Superior Court and learn more about the function and duties of judgeships in our community. Event Registration is required.
