Join Leadership Napa Valley for an in-person Meet the Leader experience to learn about AMR's role in the community as the 911 ambulance service provider, and to receive training in Hands-Only CPR and how to use a defibrillator in emergency situations.
Jason Bond serves as AMR Napa's Operations Manager, overseeing the day to day performance in the County. Jason has held this position since November 2015. Prior to that, he served as our local Operations/Clinical Supervisor. He previously worked for Piner's Ambulance and Queen of the Valley Hospital and is well engrained in the Napa County community. He received his Paramedic certification from the Northern California Training Institute in Roseville and his EMT and Licensed Vocational Nurse certifications fromNapa Valley College.
As Clinical Education Services (CES) Manager, Richard Long is responsible for the clinical oversight for Napa Counties accredited/certified paramedics and EMTs, EMS continuing education, quality assurance and continuous quality improve through trends within the 911 system and through clinical based audits. He conducts clinical investigations, creates performance improvement plans and remedial education, providing oversight of our field training program, hiring process and new hire orientation and trainings. His duties also include participating in local EMS meetings on system improvement, policy review and compliance, clinical communication amongst allied agencies, maintaining CARES data base and customer service inquiries. Richard has been in EMS for 15 years, beginning as an EMT for Piner's Ambulance in Napa County, before completing his paramedic program through Foothill College and obtaining his Paramedic License. He has held positions as paramedic, lead field training officer, interim clinical supervisor before his current role as Clinical Education Services Manager.
