Archer Taylor Preserve Hike
Saturday, April 6th
10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Join Leadership Napa Valley and the Land Trust of Napa County for an exclusive family hike at Archer Taylor Preserve.
Located on the west side of Napa Valley, the Archer Taylor Preserve consists of 399 acres, owned and managed by the Land Trust of Napa County. The Preserve is a permanently protected wildlife habitat and contains one of the largest redwood stands in Napa County. The property includes a year-round creek and over 240 recorded species of native plants, including several that are threatened or endangered.
We’ll begin at 10AM and then take the short walk from the parking lot to the Redwood grove for an intro from, Kimberly Howard, about LTNC and the Archer Taylor Preserve. We’ll offer a 1.5 mile hike appropriate for all ages and end back at the grove for the picnic. A staff member will stay in the grove for anyone not interested in the hike as well and folks can explore the creek and immediate surrounding areas instead. Due to the recent storms, parking is limited and carpooling is recommended. Please bring your own lunch.
This event is limited to 35 individuals, children welcome. Cost is $10 per person for Dues Paying Alumni and Class 36 members and $20 per person for General Alumni. Funds will be shared with the Land Trust of Napa County.
